What is Lampshade? 

The objective of a lampshade is to direct the light for maximum effectiveness. 

We apply the same concept for writers and direct the light within them (their writing) to bring out a book that is condensed into the most beautiful form. We want to be the inconspicuous shade for the light the writer carries. 

How do we do that? 

There are two ways:

1. A critique group (or a feedback group):

The only kind of writing is rewriting - Hemingway 

But how do you know what to rewrite? How do you know if a sentence is sitting well or not? If the character is fleshed out well? If the story arc is developed well?

You can send in your work to us for a free critique and then work with us on the rest of the manuscript. 

And, we are introducing our Group Meetings (Virtual) on Third Sundays of every month at a nominal annual membership fee.
