Lampshade Writers Project: October Issue - Call for Submissions
Lampshade Writers Project, a reading spaces and fiction magazine,
is looking for fiction and non-fiction pieces.
What is it about?
Have you ever been to an independent book store or a book cafe or an interesting Library and were enthralled by it. You could have picked a coffee and thought, "huh, let me sit here for a bit and then leave." But BAM! without realising you would have spent a couple hours! If this happened to you, write to us!
You could also write about a book you enjoyed and your emotions towards it. (No, don't write a review - we can get tons of them), write a love letter to a character you love. You could write a poem or a story weaving a narrative. But keep in mind these deadlines. They are for your piece to tighten up, so do not mind the word limit.
And do not forget to enjoy and savour as you write in these categories.
Poetry: up to 20 lines or 150 words
Stories: up to 1000 words
articles: up to 600 words
Once you do that, either email us your work in the body or in a word doc to lampshadewriters@gmail.com
Entry: Free (Obvio!)
Deadline: August 31, 2021
Reward: A contributor's ecopy and
a complimentary critique of your written piece [up to 1000 words]
