A tribute to Gulzar (Our events: June 2021 to August 2021)

Music. Poems. Movies. 

They are the antidote for anxiety in harsh times. Good Indian movies have assuaged the pain of loss and despair.  And to pay an ode to this antidote, we, at Lampshade Writers dedicate three months to Gulzar saab, the prolific creator, who has bestowed us thought-evoking songs, films, and poems. Come over (Zoom call, of course) to savour perspectives and thoughts! 

The schedule is below - the third Sunday morning of every month. Further details will be furnished as we move closer to the event.

Introduction to Gulzar (Stories, two poems)

This session will focus on a story from Gulzar's collection, Ravi Paar and other stories, and two poems will be chosen to study.
