 कुछ तो बात करते हैं

 

एक कॉल, एक sms, एक व्हाट्सअप मैसेज
छोटी सी ही सही,
कहीं से तो शुरुआत करते हैं..
कुछ तो बात करते हैं...

गलती तेरी थी या मेरी,
किसने लड़ाई की धुन थी छेड़ी,
झूटमूठ का हिसाब करते हैं..
कुछ तो बात करते हैं..

कुछ तो बांटा होगा हमने,
कुछ पास होगा, कुछ ख़ास होगा,
लम्हा-लम्हा बटोरते हैं,
कुछ तो बात करते हैं...

पीछे मुड़कर क्यों देखे..
चलते-चलते इतनी दूर निकल आये हैं,
कुछ देर और साथ चलते हैं...
कुछ तो बात करते हैं...

*Let’s talk*

 

Our journey of a million miles,

Hinges on gestures that trigger smiles

An IM, a text or a call 

They all serve to bridge the fall.

  

Where did I err or falter? 

Or was it you, striding up the battle altar? 

Futile and stinging all these accusation

they keep alive the flame of our expression.

 

Sharing and caring was the one constant,

deep from the heart, thoughts hidden and latent.

Watch, my love, as those moments amalgamate,

Lets talk and make this bond, consummate.

 

But why rue the past, my best half and mate,  

when walking together is destiny, our fate,

This entanglement is ours to keep, 

Lets speak, lets soar and leap.
