Delhi Lit Fest 2022 by Jennie Jobanputra

Delhi, the National Capital, envelopes multiple layers of its existence when it comes to defining its essence in the rich legacy of India. The city of politics, the city of gardens, the city of ideas, the city of empires, the city of monuments, and so many other idioms as suffixes, the city unveils its aura. And there goes another important milestone to be known as the ‘City of Cultural Heritage’ that organizes an impactful literature festival, the Times Lit Fest.

The festival is once again all set to roll out in its 10th edition with a whirling spool of ideas, perceptions, and expressions this 2022, over two weekends and six days, starting 18th February. Popularly known as the celebration of Times, India, and the Capital, the literary event will occur in the virtual mode in association with the Mobile Partner VI and Social Media Partner Koo App.

All you will have this season is an immersive experience, from the amazing Dastangoi to the vibrancy of budding novelists and the simplicity of the aam aadmi. The first weekend from 18th to 20th February will have all the nostalgic memories of the past and an open eye to see to the future at its best. And there goes the second weekend from 25th to 27th February that will add more leading booksellers and eminent personalities from the world of literature.

During the first weekend, you will have the privilege to be a part of the inspirational moment to feel the connection with Divya Dutta on 19th February. In the virtual conversation, she revives her Bollywood experiences with some of the most renowned stalwarts and the way they have influenced and shaped her life. Then the next day and the last day of the first weekend will bring you the ideas and perceptions of the literary genius of India, Dr Shashi Tharoor. He is a man of intellects whose book Pride, Prejudice and Punditry encapsulates the rich moments of Indian culture, values, heritage, and politics.

The second weekend will have an inspiring conversation with personalities like Manish Tewari, Shrayana Bhattacharya, and many more to add more spice, meaning, and value to yet another milestone of the Delhi Lit Fest. Count your fingers and be ready to be a part of this one-of-its-kind literary fest in India. The final countdown begins!
